Nice work!
I've always been a fan of this wonderful series, and am in awe of the fact that you manage to do this on top of having a full time job and a family.
Anywho, this flash is well nigh on flawless in nearly all respects. Lets break it down, shall we?
Graphics: As always, the graphics were both practically executed AND amazing pieces of eye candy all at once. The vividly colored and uniquely stylized backgrounds are very pleasing to the eye and seem to have an actual "presence" in relation to the characters.
And speaking of the characters, this is yet another example of your unique art style that has really impressed me. In addition to professional-level drawing, you also employ a method of creating highly detailed templates and layering them to create perfectly fluid characters (Dirge is the pinacle of this achievement). And now as a new twist, you've added what I like to call "emotional art". During the fight scene, you give both Dirge and Cerberus this vicious, carnal look which seems to reflect the raw rage that permiates the air. Bravo! 10/10
Sound: Just as with your other flashes, you've chosen perfect music clips that always seem to fit the mood. Soft music for the short philosophical beginning, tension building techno for the city walk, and the music from "Hellboy" for the fight. Excellent! 9/10
Premise: This is the jewel in the crown of this series. You have proven your skills as a storyteller with each successive chapter. In this one, we have two agonizingly introductions to the plot: the curvatious "xombie" Nephys and the ominous robot drone (first sign of advanced technology). Where's it from? Who made it? ARRGGHHHHHH!!!!!
10/10
Overall, a masterpiece of flash work (if a little short). Mr. Farr you are single-handedly redefining the guidelines that govern the usual zombie film. Please don't ever stop making these things!
