This was boring and a half, I found no enjoyment in this whatsoever, It had poor graphics, it was boring, the sounds werent frequent enough, and when they happened they didnt sound too good.
No humour, little violence, generally... very poor.
A well deserved 10/10!

Boring, worth about 2 or 3 tries...
Graphics werent anything special, and the sound effects sounded like somebody was shooting a can.
My 4th try was 5.700 seconds, hit rate 100%.

Not bad.
It's a bit hard, I got past the first screen, but then I got killed going for the fuel on the second screen, and that was on about my fourth attempt.
Anyways, it's a good lander game, worth playing a bunch of times if you have the patience, it's got a lot of replay value.
Worth coming back too.

The normal snake has been done to death, now the variant "radial snake" is going that way too. Some slight variation with the bonus point balls (although the idea is taken straight off a mobile phone) but this has been done before. Try something original next time!

This sort of things needs to look spectacular just to be average. Which this isn't, it seemed too buggy, poor stick graphics.

Another good game, it's like Asteroids... only with more originality and alot more thought required.
Some retro-style-rockets would have been a nice addition, but it's just a minor gripe/suggestion.

I didn't think this was too great to be honest, I don't know if those white brick things were walls to be avoided or not.
They didn't hurt my ship at all... so it's just a case of lining up Foamy when he appears, hammer the mouse button about 10 times and that's it.
A bit dull really. Repetitive.
Average quality is a stretch from this.

If anything I'd say it's too difficult, it's hard to hit the lice, and they don't stop around for very long. Good for a laugh and a few plays, but it's nothing TOO special.

This is a very good shooter, there's just a few minor problems.
The ship is too unresponsive, it takes too long to fire and aim your weapons, and the manoeuverability is fairly poor.
It's not the easiest of games to get the hang of, the controls aren't natural, but I couldn't see an easier way to set them up. Perhaps an option of setting controls would be nice, that way... if the person disagrees with the controls, they have no one to blame except themselves.
It might have been better if you had an "aim up/down" rather than rotating option, that's my main suggesstion. You know, where the weapon aims at an angle 45 degrees different to normal, Super Metroid on the SNES is a perfect example of what i'm talking about.
If those few minor gripes go ignored, it still remains a great shooter, it looks and sounds brilliant (better then most), and there's lots of different weapons to play with and enemies to kill.
If only the game was easier to control, this would be one of the greatest games on newgrounds.

The unresponsiveness might be related to latency. Try running the game on lower settings to see if it's any better. Also, there actually *was* an option to set up your own control configuration. It was.. in the Options menu 0_0. Someone else suggested the Super Metroid thing too. It's actually a pretty good idea. Come to think of it, though, a few of the things you said sounded strikingly familiar, but maybe my brain's just playing tricks.

I've always been a big fan of lander games, it's a shame that most of them here are simply copies of each other.
This one is a lot different and much better, there's actually objectives, multiple levels, and plenty of things to collect.
It's a proper game as opposed to a demonstration of a lander engine.
Great fun! difficult, quality old school gaming.

Thanks very much. I've always enjoyed these games too and this was basically my homage to the lander genre. However, as you noted, I didn't want to just build a lander engine because ... well, who cares? It's gotta be a fun game too. The engine is easy, making it fun is the challenge. I'm glad you enjoyed playing Lander II - Lunar Rescue.
